At a time of profound geopolitical change, intensifying strategic competition and growing strain on multilateralism, foreign policy is increasingly shaped by the tension between power and principle. In his address, Greece’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis, will examine how international law, multilateralism and a rules-based order can remain relevant and effective in a more volatile and transactional world. The talk will explore whether the current geopolitical moment marks a temporary disruption or the emergence of a new international era, and whether principled diplomacy can be reconciled with the demands of political realism.
