Presentation of the volume Translation, Travel, Exchange: Microhistory in Ibero-America. special issue of Romanic Review, 116, 2, 2025, edited by Rafael Gaune Corradi and Nicolás Kwiatkowski.

The volume brings together contributions from a workshop sponsored by Romanic Review in 2023. The papers seek to discuss the presence of microhistory, both in the theoretical and methodological development of its areas of interest and in its application to specific studies in Ibero-America. Also, the articles explore the limits, the fragilities, the absences, as well as the possible end of microhistory’s momentum in Ibero-America.
