Sunny Chen

Research Interests

Sunny Chen joined the MA program in Fall 2019 through the BA/MA option. Her research interests include global migration, anti-colonialism/decolonization, labor movements, statelessness & citizenship, nationalism, and the philosophy of history. 

She was elected by her classmates to be their Department Representative in the Arts & Sciences Graduate Council for Academic Year 2020-2021.

Sunny graduated in February 2022. She is currently pursuing a PhD in History at University of California, Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA).
