The table below lists most graduate courses at Columbia related to modern Europe (4000-level and higher). The current list is for: Fall 2021. Please note that the details are subject to change.
Courses marked ** require prior approval from the MA Faculty Advisor and confirmation of a final project on a topic pertaining to Europe. Please note that only two ** courses may be counted toward the MA degree requirements. 3000-level History courses should be taken as a section of HIST G6999 when possible. Cross-school registration may be restricted in some cases; consult with the school offering the course.
- SIPA Registration: Please review SIPA's Cross-Registration for Non-SIPA Students policy and register for open SIPA courses via SSOL. Note that non-SIPA students are restricted to taking a maximum of 9 SIPA credits per semester.
- Law School Registration: Please review the Law School's Cross-Registration for Non-Law Students policy and submit a Cross-Registration Application for Non-Law Students.
